What Is Experiential Learning Asia?
Experiential Learning Asia designs and delivers structured experiential learning and service-learning programs for international universities and high schools, delivered across Southeast Asia.
With over 15 years of experience in the region, we work in long-term partnership with local schools, NGOs, and community organisations to host international student groups in Cambodia and Thailand. Programs combine academic learning, cultural engagement, and meaningful community participation across education, community development, health-related, and practical project settings.
What We Do
Experiential Learning & Service-Learning Programs
Our core work focuses on experiential learning and service-learning programs that place participants in real-world contexts aligned with academic objectives. Programs span multiple sectors, including education, community development, health-related initiatives, and practical projects such as construction and infrastructure support. Learning is hands-on, supervised, and embedded within reflective and academic frameworks.
Community-Based Programs & Cultural Engagement
We work with a wide network of rural and urban communities across Southeast Asia to deliver community-based programs that support local priorities. These programs are designed to ensure local benefit, responsible engagement, and respectful cultural exchange. Cultural immersion is integrated as part of experiential learning, rather than positioned as tourism or travel.
MOEI – Migrant Outreach Education Initiative
The Migrant Outreach Education Initiative (MOEI) is one of our flagship education programs. MOEI provides intensive English-language education for migrant children and adults from Burma along the Thai–Burma border and in other parts of mainland Southeast Asia. Our team has been directly involved with MOEI since its establishment in 2008, delivering long-term educational support through trusted local partnerships.
